Don’t Ignore SEO Tips

You should never ignore any SEO tips you get. The truth is nobody knows what SEO tips work the best in search engine optimization. There are many tips that have been tested and proved to work time and time again.

The tips are :

• title tag optimization;
• good content or provide a resource;
• meta description optimization;
• alt text and image optimization
• keyword density;
• internal link structure;
• quality relevant back links;
• clean html and css (valid);
• no duplicate content.

You could use that as a checklist, but there are thousands of more SEO tips that could potentially increase your results in the search engines. Nobody knows what works best, because if you apply all these tips at the same time and your websites ranking increases you don’t know which technique would have increased it.

For example if you didn’t have such a rich keyword density would it have been ranked even higher than it already has? You need to draw a line on technical details such as this or you will optimize your site until you can’t no more, but then have no content.

If you don’t have content then your site is never going to rank well. You need to make sure you are focussing on your content more than anything else to get anywhere in SEO.

Good content with valid html and a good internal linking structure will always bring you results. Just remember to have your main keyword in your title tag, or don’t expect to be found by that keyword.

Keeping your content fresh works well for SEO I found as well. If you add new content or update your content at least a couple of times a month, search engines will see you are actually taking the time to update your site and rank you better as a direct result of this.

The only SEO tips you should probably ignore are the ones that you feel are black hat. You do not want to get your site banned from a bad tip that has told  you to keyword spam.
